7.9 percent inflation in Denver this year. Brightside? Unemployment is the lowest since 1969 when we had a Vietnam draft sending high school seniors to Danang.

The inflation is troubling, especially since i'm on a fixed income- My pensions although generous, do not include cost of living increases- Right now, after all my bills I can bank 3 to 4 thousand a month, but I fear one day if things keep going at this rate the ends might not meet when i'm in my 90's

I believe the Feds are underreporting the true inflation numbers. They still use the prices of electric typewriters. When was the last year you bought an electric typewriter? 1983 for me.
