I work for Terrestrial Radio lol. I am forced to listen to it. I almost took a job with Audacy last year before they filed for bankruptcy. Thank goodness I got a bad feeling and told them no. It sucks working through a bankruptcy. Contractors all want cash. You have to get approval to purchase anything, even small stuff like light bulbs.

I still listen to terrestrial radio, but mainly sports talk. Does liberal talk radio work?

Poor George, he will be competing against NPR which is financed by taxpayers. If the Democrats get their own funded radio arm, should conservative America also get their own taxpayer financed radio network?

Liberal, commercial radio? Didn't that fail with Air America already?

I dunno it sounds like the ol lefty hedge fund vulture capitalist Soros is only buying up the cheap junk bonds during bankruptcy? But maybe they are convertible to stock shares for eventual control of the company?

Either way, I only listen to Sirius XM radio, and almost only youtube TV for everything.

...and Hi LJ! Cheers!

I believe it’s actually Alex Soros who went after the Audacy stake. His corporation would have the controlling interest. It’s kind of interesting to me because we have some very good talent in this area that is employed by them that would likely be turned loose because of drastic ideological differences. I’m hoping my employer would see the benefit of picking them up but my company is pretty woke too so I doubt it. Radio is in decline and streaming companies are on the rise. Spotify is my favorite because I can set up shared playlists with my kids. We have oddly similar tastes in music.
