I'm ok with that- Let's be truthful and fair here, I don't wanna be stained by your lies and misrepresentations
There are a lot of black guys down south who got long prison terms for possession. Drug laws like the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986 created mandatory minimum sentences that resulted in vastly different penalties that disproportionately affected Black communities and led to long prison sentences for possession-related charges and lower-level drug offenses
I'm the last guy to defend Biden or black people, but we have to be intellectually honest or the libs won't believe a word we say- and as a freedom lover, I applauded Biden for pardoning those guys, and as an ultra conservative, I didn't want to spend 60k a year housing and feeding em...... for something I do every day... STAND FOR FREEDOM AND FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY for once in your life. President Biden’s recent mass pardon for federal marijuana convictions will do little to help those convicted at the state level. Some of my sources estimate there are roughly 30,000 behind bars for state marijuana possession charges. In those numbers, there are still at least 70 people serving a life sentence for marijuana charges that include no violence; according to the American Civil Liberties Union. Justice has certainly not been served for any of these men and women. Older inmates were serving sentences of life without parole and wondered if they would die behind bars...
