The ONLY reason Obama isn't trashing Comey has to be because Obama doesn't want his legacy tarnished by being on the wrong side of the truth and for being a political shield for Hillary. Because Ernest came out with a statement like that, I have to believe that Obama knows there is something big enough that would be very embarrassing for him if he was to take Hilary's side.
If Clinton is elected, it will be interesting to watch the corruption machine working hard to eject Comey from his job. I don't think she could get him out for a couple years so maybe he'll just end up dead, mysteriously.

I have to say that is how I am leaning. They know because he discussed it with Lynch. It feels like they are backing away. It will be interesting to see if he keeps his schedule to campaign for her later this week.

Nothing corrupt or dishonest about Trump not releasing his tax returns because there is no requirement to do so. If Trump has committed some sort of tax fraud, I'm sure the left leaning IRS would be all over him him like Bill Clinton on an intern.

Well, now you're aware that Manafort, Drumpf's chief advisor (until he was forced to quit), *IS* being investigated by the FBI...
The FBI has been conducting a preliminary inquiry into Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort’s foreign business connections, law enforcement and intelligence sources told NBC News Monday.
The FBI did not comment. Manafort told NBC News “none of it is true … There’s no investigation going on by the FBI that I’m aware of.” He said he had never had ties to Russian president Vladimir Putin, or had dealings with Putin and his government. He said any suggestion of such ties was “Democratic propaganda.” “This is all political propaganda, meant to deflect,” he said.
NBC News reported in August that Manafort was a key player in multi-million-dollar business propositions with Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs — one of them a close Putin ally with alleged ties to organized crime — which foreign policy experts said raised questions about the pro-Russian bent of the Trump candidacy.
