I finally mounted my Ring cams yesterday

You don't feed wildlife, you idiot- and my birds aren't wildlife, so don't go there. I love my wild birds...anyway, Nothing on the cameras since, but a lot of deer, a few coyotes, a couple of foxes, and one ring-tailed cat... I'm waiting to see my first lion

Haven't seen a bear since that first night, but we have a little visit everynight that is even rarer to see- A Ring Tailed Cat- This is a wild feline that lives in the trees in the day, and hunts chipmonks at night- We see her everynight on the cams- Like any red blooded, American alpha male, I'd like to shoot her and have her stuffed, but my RINO wife says, and I quote "no"

I've had 3 mtn lions on my trail cam the past year, Bear, Moose, foxes and tons of Deer of course. The other day from my deck I saw a black fox actually climb part way up a small pine tree- to get something a Magpie had left on a branch. I didn't know they could climb a tree?

Wow........Ok? Enough of the bragging. I've only had my cameras up for a couple of weeks- and...

A trail Cam? That's so early 2010s! It's 2025, bro-

We're sitting in bed watching a late-night movie, and the dog growls, or I get a chime on my tablet and immediately pull up all the cameras, and view the wildlife in real time... While you gotta get dressed, go out into the woods the next day, pull the SD card, go back inside, boot up a computer, insert the card, open a program, and search through the 100's of files to see anything moving...and you can't share it with friends and family... Maybe you can tape the screen with a video camera and put it on a VHS tape for everyone?

Ha ha, yes you are correct my trail cam is old and low tech. I've been thinking about upgrading to a wireless with internet, just haven't studied it enough. With the windy days here all winter the trail cam gets way too many false motion triggers. I really have it positioned as more a security camera on the drive way. Wildlife is just a bonus.

The ring tailed cat was cool btw. Good luck on your treatments too.

You screw the plate in, slide the camera in, and the charge lasts about 6 weeks. You can set the motion sensitivity, motion area, and many other settings... It picks up audio, and you can speak through it, or activate a Siren...We're so happy with these- I got 3 for $89 on PRIME DAY

I don't know any neighbor who's ever seen one, and you know why? Everything hunts them.. Owls, wolves, coyotes, foxes, bobcats, lynx, mountain lions, badgers, bears, dogs...Probably turtles even..

You have a better chance of seeing an all-white family in a TV commercial than seeing a Ringtailed Cat
