"More than half the states in the country have legalized medical marijuana, but some hospitals still bar users from life-saving organ transplants.
. . .The Nebraska Medical Center, in a state that prohibits all cannabis use, calls it “a complex issue that is dealt with on a case-by-case basis between the patient and their transplant team.”
At Massachusetts General Hospital, a hospital in a state that has legalized both medical and recreational marijuana, it’s a far different story. “If someone is abusing marijuana — either medically or recreationally — they would not be a candidate for transplant,” a spokesman said.

Smoking Pot Can Get You Kicked Off Transplant Lists
Re: Smoking Pot Can Get You Kicked Off Transplant Lists
Keep in mind the ideologues and D.A.R.E-brainwashed tools of ideology and enslavement all believe that any use or sacrament partaking of cannabis is 'abuse.' Good red-blooded Americans acquire more profitable addictions to the truly dangerous drugs, like alcohol, tobacco, and high-fructose corn syrup, leaving souls malnourished and ready to consume in search of deep things that were culturally suppressed for profit. The 1950s sucked, isn't it amazing how many people are still trying to culturally colonize the world from there? Why are they so fearful of extradimensional catnip?
Don't they Get It? The world has moved on*, and people collectively and individually are not going back into that darkness. It's time for us all to literally or metaphorically expand our minds and live like it's the 21st century and the spirits of the world are once again living, breathing, and walking among us. The substance was never the point, free thought and spirituality always was.
