U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Sunday he had not been contacted by the FBI about new investigative steps being taken related to Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server.

"No, I haven't been notified of anything, no, I haven't been requested of anything, no, I'm not aware of the department being requested, and I have no further comment to make," Kerry told a news conference in Ireland where he is being awarded a peace prize.

"As an American citizen and former nominee of the party, there is a lot I'd like to say about what is going on, but I can't and I am just going to remain out of this," he added.

MY understanding is that the DOJ said they would do whatever the FBI recommended after Lynch was caught in her secret meeting with Bill. Kerry wants to stay as far away from this as possible.

The FBI hadn't seen the emails when Comey's announcement threw a wrench into the election, so
how can they contain some HUGE revelation if they've not yet been seen?

At best it's a "no stone left unturned" hedge against Trump's claims the election is rigged. Barring that -
awaiting his resignation letter after the election he just influenced.

Who care if he is a republican, if that mattered what happened in July where he helped the Clintons would not have happened. I am sure that would have been brought up if he had not done that. From what I am hearing is this, there was a revolt in the FBI on how this was handled in the first place and when this came up he knew he had to do something or his agents were going to do it.

On a side note, I heard today that these emails were found on a computer called life insurance. I wonder if Weiner did this to try in some way to get out of what he was in.

It's the Russians, it's the FBI it's never Hillary. IF the media had done their job, this would not be found out days before an election. If
there was no secret server and she had not bleached up 33,000 emails and if the DNC had not rigged their side of the election this would not have happened. Also, if the FBI had done a more thorough job or maybe brought in a grand jury, this would not have happened. It is all a mess and it started with her. It is obvious that the FBI is doing something totally weird and probably not right but it is because this is a total mess not because he is biased that is clear or he would have pulled the trigger in July. And this mess started with her. You cannot just say oh he is biased that makes no sense.

None of this would have ever happened if Hillary was honest from the beginning and didn't make up a bunch of lies to cover her secretive and incompetent ass. Too bad, so sad.

Hillary got a pass nobody in the private sector would have gotten back in July and everybody in the FBI knew it. When you get a subpoena in an investigation and you then decide to destroy evidence, your ass should fry, period. And when you lie over and over and over to the American people about your secrecy and desire to manage classified documents outside of the government system, you better be willing to accept the consequences. I'm so sick of the Clintons being able to make up their own rules while at the same time making millions of of their public "service". She will survive this because she has devoted population of morons (voters) who either don't know or don't care and she has the DOJ and the president to help her skirt justice.
