Evergreen Fire needs volunteers TONIGHT for sandbag efforts!

Evergreen Fire needs all the help they can get filling sandbags for the flood efforts! If you can help, please come to Evergreen Fire Station 2 at 1802 Bergen Pkwy, Evergreen. Come to the administration building, it's the big building to your far right as you pull into the parking lot.

We need you at 8:30pm tonight!

To anyone who showed last night to assist and was turned away - my apologies! EFR had been told they would not have National Guard assistance overnight with sandbags, which is why they asked for the community's help. Then, right as the volunteers showed up, they were informed the Guard had been "re-upped" to work through the night doing the sandbags.

THANK YOU to all who came out to support the fire department and the community! You are great!

Anyone who needs sandbags in Evergreen today can go to Station 1 and get them from the firefighters there. It's right on Hwy 73 just south of the dam.
