Thanks for the up to date info- Your source says 4,764 prisoners at the end of March...My Info of 5,935 detainees was about 9 weeks old...I guess the Israelis executed 1200 of them in the meantime.

In 2008, the Pentagon spent more money every five seconds in Iraq than the average American earned in a year.
I thought all this debt was Obama's fault :VeryScared:

You are making an assumption, that the figure given by the mirror has any basis in fact. :snapoutofit:

Yeah, thats what I thought, change the subject...Its real easy to figure it out Grady...

Total spending in Iraq in 2008 divided by 365, divided by 12, divided by 60 divided by 60 again and times 5

From the CBO for the entire Iraq war including on-going expenses "The CBO estimated that of the $2.4 trillion long-term price tag for the war, about $1.9 trillion of that would be spent on Iraq, or $6,300 per U.S. citizen." Hardly "what the average American earns in a year".

That is a total figure not an annual figure.

Thats not what I asked Grady?

According to the military we spent 256 million a day in Iraq in 2008, the true cost to you and me was closer to 500,000

Check your math. $256 million is less than a dollar per day per citizen, or about $300/year.

I am not going to defend going into Iraq, I never thought it was a good idea. You wont't find any place I cheered any part of it.
