Evergreen's Blue Spruce Kiwanis welcomes new members

Evergreen’s Blue Spruce Kiwanis (BSK) service club meets every Thursday morning, 7 a.m., at Lariat Lodge (27618 Fireweed Dr., Evergreen). The hour-long meetings include breakfast, club business, and a guest speaker from a local business or organization.

Local Kiwanians are involved in numerous service projects, including fundraising for area charities and participating in community improvement efforts. BSK’s largest annual project is the Big Chili Music & Arts Festival, benefiting mountain-area firefighters and other local charities. They also host several pancake breakfasts each year to raise money for schools and nonprofit agencies.

Blue Spruce Kiwanis also offers a monthly evening meeting for those who are not able to attend the morning gatherings.
